I am so blessed to have gotten to spend a week at Victoria Falls. This was the total "Vacation" part of my trip to Africa. Victoria Falls is on the border of Zambia and Zimbabwe and is the largest waterfall in the world by volume. There is a bridge that separates the two countries and I bungee jumped off of it! There are several resorts on the waterfall area and on each of them are giraffe, zebra, monkeys, and baboons greeting you. A quick hike to the falls everyday made this the ultimate vacation spot.

Spent a day in the Chobe National Park which is in neighboring country Botswana, from my stay in Zambia. The day consisted of a water and a land safari.
Tourism is one of the ways African countries can use their resources to benefit their economy while also protecting them. Check out these animals! I visited Chief Mukuni Village in Livingtone, Zambia (Africa) with some of my USC classmates. We got to see how they live in the village, buy locally made crafts, and hang out with the cutest kids!
They raise goats and chickens for food, have gardens, hang dry clothes, have separate huts for sleeping and for cooking, and even sprout seeds to make yeast for beer. Took a roadtrip from the Sacramento area to Lake Tahoe. We checked out both South Lake Tahoe (California) as well as the entire Nevada shoreline.
Photos taken on a Canon 5D Mark iii with a Sigma 24-70 f.2.8 My cousin Amy and I made the 4 hour drive from Auburn, CA to Yosemite and back for a day trip. Wish we could have stayed ALOT longer.. but I will be back!
I took a roadtrip with one of my best friends through the southwest region and I absolutely fell in love with the desert! We started in Salt Lake City to celebrate St. Patrick's day and left the following morning on a 6 hour drive to Page, AZ home of Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, and Horseshoe Bend. We then headed to Bryce Canyon for a day, and Zion National Park for 2 days, then back to Salt Lake City. Antelope CanyonHorseshoe Bend and other stops in Page, AZBryce Canyon (and surrounding areas)Zion National ParkOne person, in front of and behind the camera. One of my goals is to force myself to do more self portrait sessions with the hopes of learning a thing or two differently than i normally would. ♥ I'm starting off simple, learning how to focus my camera on something that is not there (yet), and hoping to go deeper towards the end of this project by having my images tell a story January 2016This is just simply a style I love to shoot and am having a hard time find a local model. My first time using the remote system and focusing when the subject (me) is not in place. February 2016These portraits are a series of a journey / search in the woods, of what is unknown. I also played around with lens distortions of different types of glass to add effects to some of these. Definitely will be adding this effect to my tool kit ;) March 2016This month I was challenged to take photos for a client indoors on a white background.. something I never do. I am a lover of natural light, bokeh, and the outdoors so all of my shoots are done exactly like that. To challenge myself to expand my horizons I did my March Self portraits indoors on a white background and on a scenic background (can you tell?? let me know in the comments). For the white ones, I played around with weird poses and editing styles so that it was more than a "headshot" type look. Not positive how I feel about these, but hey that's the point of this project :)
I typically don't post boudoir photos because the ones I take are usually of a bride as a gift to her husband. This is a little something different, I wanted to go outside and use a local artist in a styled shoot of my choosing... enjoy!
Photos from a last second trip to San diego for a 3 day weekend!
La Jolla, Coronado, Point Loma, and more! Also, quite a few beers in Pacific Beach ;) I took some photos of my gorgeous and talented friend Alixia the other day to showcase fitness modeling, and some WoolX clothing. Did I mention that Alixia just published her first ebook?! A 30 day bikini body for life guide which I have already purchased! We headed up to the top of a roof in Charleston, which I think has been my best Charleston location idea yet! Being a PNW girl, this was a good change up in style from the typical Carolina backgrounds. Wearing WoolXA couple more photos wearing one of my favorite outfits from WoolX!
I've been trying out second shooting this year when I'm not booked. Last weekend I went to Beaufort for a wedding and stopped in Sheldon along the way. Here are some photos from walking around both areas <3
A quick weekend in the sun to avoid the winter blues with 3 friends. We hit the beaches, relaxed with some coconut drinks, and went parasailing!
Overall, I would much rather go somewhere else tropical than back to the Bahamas, however the beaches were quite amazing and the price I paid for the entire trip was just too worth it! Freeport + Nassau. Photos taken with canon 35mm L lens and go pro From Paros, I took a ferry to the gorgeous island of Santorini where I spent 3 days exploring via ATV with all the wonderful people I met earlier in my trip. The photos from Santorini as well as Paros and Athens can be found for sale here in my print shop! The ferry ride to SantoriniSantoriniParos is a less tourist traveled island in Greece. I am so glad I went here because everything was just perfect!
To start, the locals are SUPER friendly and love to hang out! It is a relaxed lifestyle on Paros. The streets are beautiful stone lined with pink flowering trees. Just like every other part of Greece, there are plenty of cats and kittens to follow you around. There is plenty of hiking, different styles of beaches, and lots of things to do outdoors. Take a look to see for yourself.. See a photo you like? You can purchase prints from my trip here. Photos taken on: Canon EOS 5D Mark III 22.3 MP Full Frame CMOS with 1080p Full-HD Video Mode Digital SLR Camera (Body) I started my tour of Greece off by spending two days in Athens. I highly recommend spending 1-2 full days in Athens if you are headed out to the Greek islands afterwards. I think you can see it all in a full day if you wanted. Here are some of the areas I saw and things I would recommend:
See a photo you like? You can purchase prints from my trip here. Photos taken on: I headed home to Seattle this summer for my brother's wedding and a photography workshop. Along the way I did all the touristy things downtown that I never did while I lived there, stayed in the Olympic Mountains, hiked, ate Ivars on the water, went to Eastern WA and saw my family. Here are some photos from the trip! Downtown SeattleWandering the rest of WashingtonTook a camping trip up to Lake Jocassee which was about a 5 hour drive from Charleston and so worth it! Pretty much decided I NEED a lakehouse here :)
Photos taken on Canon 5d Mark iii with a 24-70mm and a 50mm, and on my go pro. I spent a gorgeous August weekend in the hilltops of the Olympic Mountains at the Alpine NW photography workshop, lead by Jordan Voth, Taylor McCuthchan, and Noelle Johnson at beautiful Lake Crescent. There were two shoots incorporated. Check out my take on them! Brittni + Trent Zane + Yela I wanted to show a little behind the scenes here on my blog of the things I did and learned... Photos (c) Lo Photo, LLC Noelle lead us up mountain tops...Jordan showed us how to become one with nature...We talked product placement...Spent our downtime playing on Lake Crescent...Instragrammed ... (ALOT)Learned editing styles....My take on the editing we walked through was that Jordan's is very simple and to the point. Taylor takes a different approach and likes to play around with different styles depending on the photos. Jordan taught us that the best shots come from some tricky places...We saw "That NW Cabin" that got so "instafamous"...And we went to a couple rad locations for our shoots...So if you're looking for a mix of learning & adventure - Alpine NW is the place for youHere are some photos from a surfing / body boarding day at folly beach, Charleston, SC.

Photos by Kirsten Lynne Photography I spent 5 days in the heart of Times Square with my cousin and uncle and did so many things that NYC has to offer! Such a fun and exciting trip in a city that never sleeps. We checked out the Met, the Museum of National History, Central Park, Little Italy, SOHO, took a carriage ride at 1 am, took a helicopter ride around the city and statue of liberty, went to the top of the Empire State Building, and explored the many streets, restaurants, bars and shops.
