Take a walk through downtown Brisbane with me <3
Explored this city on my own and was so impressed with the tiny shops, bakeries, and the parks! Photos: Canon 5d Mark iii and 50mm f/1.2, edited with my presets. Want to learn how to take better photos of your travels? Check out my guide here! Bali. Bali. Bali. Oh my goodness Bali.
I cannot wait to go back here and stay longer. I stayed in Sanur which was the more quiet area of Denpasar. While in Bali I visited Ubud, the sacred monkey sanctuary, Tanah Lot Temples, the rice terraces, saw how coffee was made, rode scooters throughout Denpasar, Learned to surf at Kuta beach, talked with local artists, and visited Mt Agung - a volcano that erupted just 2 days after. Photos taken with a Canon 5d Mark iii Want to learn how to use your DSLR to take photos of your adventures? Check out my ebook here! Bali was such an amazing experience. I especially loved my airbnb in Sanur, as it was away from all the tourists and oh so cute. I felt like I had a little piece of the jungle to myself. Check out some photos lounging around this place in one of Strange Bikini's awesome handmade pieces!

A short drive from Sydney is Royal National Park. I stopped at one of the beaches here and found some pretty cool secluded spots including a natural pool in the rocks!

Either way, thanks to the lovely bubbly Lindsay for modeling, and Crooked Crown for letting us taste their alcoholic popsicles to celebrate the holiday with a summer vibe this Christmas! If you haven't checked them out yet, they're located on Spring St. in downtown Charleston <3 Oh Havana!
What an amazing, friendly, and colorful culture. I feel like everything I heard about Cuba before I went turned out not to be true. Except for the vintage cars, there were definitely lots of those! See something you like? Check it out in the print shop or send me an email! Interested in what my photos look like before I edit them? Check out a few examples.
For these images, I applied one of my lightroom presets I have made (basically a copy of my settings to save time) and then adjusted the exposure and white balance to fit the particular photo. All in all, it takes about 20 seconds. If I choose to edit skin, eyes, or other parts of a portrait, this would take additional time and I usually prefer to do that in Photoshop. If you are interested in my Lightroom presets, you can find them for sale over in my shop, for $20 So thankful this year - My work nominated and chose me to go on a free trip to Miami Beach and stay at Fontainbleau! It was a blast.. so much that I hardly took my camera out! I took a little walk down the beach on my last day and got these photos with the goal of getting some tropical themed prints for my Print Store and to hang around my house.
Like any you see? Pick them up at the Print shop! I recently built a new home in Charleston, SC with the help of Southeastern builders! I wanted to keep everything very bright and clean so that most of the color would come from my style and belongings. Take a look around and let me know what you think, I'm in love!
My good friend Jenn and I took some photos out at Folly Beach this fall.

This is my second time shooting Susan & I can't get enough of this girl. She's so much fun & truly a pleasure to photograph. This time we went to the Americano, a trendy little diner located in the heart of Mount Pleasant. Every corner turned into the perfect space with the prettiest colors. The green trees, colorful flowers & bright hanging lights made the best background for Susan.
I recently had the opportunity to visit Sam Rueter, a Charleston based artist, in her studio located in the Redux Contemporary Art building. It was so cool to experience first hand how Sam creates these stunning abstract paintings. Her careful choice of color, unique brushstrokes, and strong focus indicated just how passionate about she is about her work. I highly recommend checking out Sam's incredible pieces either at Redux or through her online shop!
The inspiration for this shoot was my black hat from Free People, and this brick wall. That is it. But man did we get a ton of great pics! Check out the gorgeous Susan who strolled some little Charleston alleys with me last week!
