I participated as the model in a styled session at Middleton Place this weekend and stuck around for a few minutes afterwards to wander the gardens by myself. Here are a few photos I took after my shoot!

StingraysThere was a sandbar about a 35min speed boat ride out into the sea where the sand was raised so high you could stand and be about waist deep. Apparently, fisherman used to come here to clean off their fish and overtime the stingrays started gathering here, waiting, eating, and hanging out with the fisherman. 180 feet high and 600 feet long, the waterfalls are terraced like giant natural stairs from a white sand beach on the caaribbean sea up into the forest. Didn't get the results I was looking for but I did learn some things for next time! Excited to try this on a camping trip :)
This year I had Martin Luther King day off and I decided to spend it outdoors even though I had a to do list a mile long. I had been wanting to check out Congaree National Forrest since I moved to Charleston in 2013, and I greatly miss the trees we have in the PNW. So I grabbed my friend Ally and my camera for the day. This weekend I checked out Cypress Gardens in Goose Creek, South Carolina with two friends. Here are some shots!
Photos are taken with a mix of Canon 5d mark iii w/ Sigma 24-70 lens, and a gopro. My first timelapse video on my gopro ... hoping to get much better at this! This was taken at sullivan's island station 18 last weekend during our beach bonfire! I just bought a Go Pro from Costco and while i was headed to Orlando, FL i figured what a great way to test it out! These were not taken as photos - These are videos I made, and then took a snapshot on my computer screen. There is no editing whatsoever on these photos. FootageHere's a few videos I made on the rides! Don't mind the horrible filming ;)
This October, 8 of us took a trip to Asheville, NC. We stayed downtown in an awesome loft, explored the city, and drove / hiked around blue ridge parkway. To keep with the "lets stay weird" vibe we all love about Asheville, most of the shots in downtown Asheville are with a lensbaby - or as my friends call it "the toilet plunger lens that takes weird photos." Downtown AshevilleBlue Ridge ParkwayFootageHere's a short little video I made on my iphone On my visit to Omaha, NE I dropped and broke one of my favorite lenses (a 24-70mm f/2.8). The damage seemed minimal so rather than replace it I decided to try V-Photo in Atlanta and explore the area while I was there.
V-Photo did an amazing job and fixed my lens at a price that completely made my day! While in Atlanta I got to check out SweetWater Brewing, the Stadium and downtown bars, CNN, and some of the nightlife including Church and Mothers which were such a cool atmosphere! I spent some time in Omaha, NE during August and got to spend the day at the #1 zoo in America! Here are some of my favorites:

I had the best time with an amazing group of friends hanging out in Phoenix and making the hike to gorgeous Havasupai =) Photos are taken with a combination of: - Canon 5D Mark iii (Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 + Canon 50mm f/1.4) - Olympus Tough Stylus (Waterproof) - HTC One The hikeMooney FallsHavasu FallsHere are some photos I took of Christine the other day to help complete her new photography website (Coming soon!) Photos are taken in Charleston, SC.
Photos of Christine {tan dress} are by Lo Photo, LLC (Lindsey O'Sullivan). Photos of me are taken by Love and Lenses (Christine Lentz) but edited by me (Lindsey O'Sullivan) so I could practice (haha) My outfit: shorts - Target, Cardigan - Forever 21. I was headed on my usual run around Lake Whitney {Johns Island, SC} and halfway through I saw a new addition to the ever abundant geese that live on this lake. What did I do? Run back home - grab my camera - and head back to lay in the grass and observe this little family until they eventually swam away for the night. Look closely and you can see the baby, swimming at the side of it's parent {on the right}.
If you're from Seattle you know that soccer is a BIG deal! I never thought I would get this close to the field, or get to meet the Sounders. When they came (along with Houston and DC United) to Charleston, SC it was obvious that it is just not as big here. I got to sit front row behind the players bench, and meet the players after the game! I even got my picture with Brad Evans! There were 3 total games for the sounders, and at the last game I decided to try my hand at sports photography. Comment and let me know what you think!
Before on boarding the USS Yorktown {CV-10} in Charleston, SC I took some photos from outside of it, overlooking the beautiful Ravenel bridge. Together, the photos show a mix of patriotism and nature.
Here's a sneak peak at a lifestyle session I just did with this growing family! To check out the whole post, click here.
Between the greater Seattle area and Eastern WA (A totally different planet!) There lies Snoqualmie pass. You can come here most of the year when you are missing snow, and also take a look at some of Washington's reservoirs on your drive. These photos were taken in February, when the snow comes down to the road level (and not just up in the mountains).
I took a cabin trip to The Smokey's North Carolina this January with 10 friends. It was a town called Bryson city, right near the border of Tennessee. I didn't think I would get to see snow this winter so I was super happy when I saw a few flakes! Also, it was 8 degrees so all our beer on the patio froze! Here are some photos from our trip...
This year we went to San Juan, Puerto Rico from Christmas to New Years.
Here is what I learned:
